Terms and Conditions – The Inner Circle

1. Membership and Payments

1.1 The Inner Circle is a monthly subscription service operated by Cocktail & Book Club.
1.2 By joining, you authorise recurring monthly payments until cancelled.
1.3 Payments are processed automatically on your renewal date each month.
1.4 You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing date.
1.5 If cancellation occurs after payment has been processed and production for that month has started, cancellation will take effect from the following month.

2. Cut-off Dates and Shipping Schedule

2.1 All Inner Circle boxes are shipped during the final week of each month.
2.2 Members who join before the 21st of the month will receive the next month’s box.
2.3 Members who join after the 21st may receive their first box a few days later, depending on stock and production timing.
2.4 If stock for that month’s box has run out, members will receive only the book of the month and will start receiving full boxes from the following month.

3. Delivery

3.1 UK deliveries are sent via tracked post and usually arrive within 2–3 working days after dispatch.
3.2 European deliveries take approximately 5–7 working days.
3.3 International deliveries take approximately 7–10 working days but may vary depending on customs procedures.
3.4 Cocktail & Book Club is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, or other circumstances beyond our control.
3.5 You will receive a dispatch notification once your box has been shipped.

4. Returns and Refunds

4.1 Inner Circle boxes and Post Editions are custom-made each month and therefore are non-refundable and non-returnable once shipped.
4.2 Refunds or replacements will only be issued for damaged or missing items.
4.3 To request a replacement or refund, contact read@cocktailandbookclub.com within 5 working days of receiving your order and include photographs of the issue.
4.4 If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the same payment method within 10 working days.

5. Damaged or Missing Deliveries

5.1 If your parcel arrives damaged or is missing items, please notify us within 5 working days of receipt.
5.2 Depending on availability, we will either:
  a) Send a replacement box or item, or
  b) Issue a partial or full refund.
5.3 Claims made after this period may not be eligible for replacement or refund.

6. International Orders

6.1 International customers are responsible for any customs fees or import duties that may apply in their country.
6.2 Delivery times may vary depending on location and local postal systems.

7. Book Selection and Schedule

7.1 The following month’s book is selected by members during the first week of each month through a voting process.
7.2 The winning title is announced mid-month, and production begins immediately after.
7.3 All boxes are shipped together during the final week of each month.

8. Product Availability

8.1 All Inner Circle boxes are produced in limited quantities each month.
8.2 If stock becomes unavailable due to unexpected demand, we will contact you directly to offer an alternative or a refund.

9. Address Changes

9.1 It is the member’s responsibility to ensure their delivery address is correct.
9.2 Address changes must be made at least 10 days before the end of the month to apply to the next shipment.
9.3 Cocktail & Book Club is not responsible for parcels sent to an incorrect address if it was not updated in time.

10. Cancellation by Cocktail & Book Club

10.1 We reserve the right to suspend or cancel memberships in cases of non-payment, repeated failed deliveries, or misuse of the service.
10.2 In the event of cancellation by us, affected members will be notified by email.
